Yarmouth is an extraordinary community — and I feel fortunate that my family and I have called it home for the past 15 years.
Local leadership works best when people come together, ask the right questions, and focus on practical solutions that strengthen our community for the long term.
Yarmouth is a special place — with hardworking families, strong schools, thriving local businesses, beautiful open spaces, and a community that genuinely cares about one another.
At the local level challenges should not be partisan issues — they are community issues. Property taxes, schools, development, infrastructure, affordability, and transparency all require thoughtful discussion and practical problem-solving.
I’m running because I believe better candidates lead to better outcomes for the community.
My goal is to bring a steady, collaborative approach to town government that focuses on real results.
Vote Chuck Thompson on June 9
I’m a husband, father, business leader, entrepreneur, and 15 year Yarmouth resident.
In my professional career, I’ve led business and growth initiatives for emerging technology companies, delivering complex, high-impact solutions for organizations like Procter & Gamble, Ford, Home Depot, and Major League Baseball. That experience has shaped how I approach challenges—bringing people together, asking the right questions, weighing trade-offs, and delivering practical results.
Professional success aside, what matters most to me is family and community.
My wife Sarah and I chose Yarmouth because of its schools, neighborhoods, sense of community, and quality of life. Like many residents, I care deeply about preserving what makes this town special while ensuring it remains affordable and sustainable for both current and future generations.
I’m running for Town Council because I believe Yarmouth needs thoughtful, independent leadership focused on long-term results — not politics, slogans, or division. I believe we accomplish the most when we focus on shared values, respectful dialogue, and practical solutions that benefit the broader community.
My leadership style is positive, collaborative, and results-oriented. If elected, I will bring proven leadership experience, independent thinking, fiscal discipline, and a strong commitment to transparency and accountability to the Yarmouth Town Council.

Lets be real. Our property taxes have increased 49% in four years. That's a problem that needs new leadership to address. Fiscal discipline is about making sure every tax dollar is spent wisely and delivers real value to residents.
I will support responsible budgeting that keeps Yarmouth financially strong while maintaining the high-quality services our community depends on.

Local government works best when decisions are grounded in practical thinking and open dialogue. Bringing back our holiday tradition is a example.
I will focus on solutions that are realistic, sustainable, and based on what actually works for the community — not ideology.

Residents deserve clear, honest communication about how decisions are
made and how public resources are used.
I will support open collaborative processes that increase civic access, encourage increased engagement and improve outcomes for Yarmouth.

Yarmouth’s character is one of its greatest strengths —
strong schools, open spaces, and a vibrant sense of community.
We can protect that character while also embracing thoughtful, well-planned growth that supports future generations.
